The Lithuanian Love Coin tradition is a wedding activity that dates back to a legend of the 1500′s. It involves the bridal party (and others) bringing many silver dollars, half dollars, and quarters and pouring them onto the dance floor. At the end of the first dance, people scrample to bottle the coins for the couple, and at the same time, find the special marked “love coin” to win a dance with the bride or groom.
